Maria Suarez

Maria is a dynamic professional with a diverse background in leadership, project coordination, and community development. After earning her MBA, she combined her knowledge of education and business to work across industries, including higher education, non-profit, and wellness. In her most recent roles as a Youth Trade Supervisor and Entrepreneurship Coordinator, Maria developed and led programs that created employment opportunities and supported business initiatives, particularly within Spanish-speaking communities. Her responsibilities included managing program budgets, analyzing data, building partnerships, developing outreach strategies, coordinating logistics, and delivering both digital and professional development education.

Originally from Costa Rica, Maria moved to the United States in 2015. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the mountains—whether hiking, skiing, or exploring small towns with friends. She is also a certified yoga teacher and teaches yoga and meditation in her spare time. Maria’s personal interests include adrenaline sports, and she finds inspiration in successful entrepreneurs like Isa Garcia, whom she would choose as her ideal dinner guest. She brings both strategic insight and a passion for community impact to every role she takes on.
