Ver-Tex Construction is founded in a garage in Abington, Massachusetts.

1991

Ver-Tex Construction moves its headquarters from Abington, Massachusetts to Canton, Massachusetts.

2002

Ver-Tex Construction begins providing and installing a range of construction specialties products to supplement its window treatment offerings.

2014

The Ver-Tex Construction Experience Center showroom is opened in Boston.

Shade Light Solutions is established as Ver-Tex’s residential division.

2016

Ver-Tex Construction increases its national presence with a new office in Florida.

2017

Brianna Goodwin becomes President and CEO of Ver-Tex Construction.

2018

Ver-Tex Construction outgrows its headquarters of the previous 15 years and moves to a new office space in Canton, Massachusetts.

2020-2021

Ver-Tex Construction successfully navigates the pandemic continuing to thrive as a company. Ver-Tex becomes a female majority-owned business.

In November of 2021, Ver-Tex announces the acquisition of Brambier’s, an award-winning window shade and acoustic wall & ceiling system distributor based in South Florida.

2022

Ver-Tex expands its Window Treatment and Acoustic Systems business to the Mid-Atlantic States to become the largest distributor in the U.S.

Ver-Tex Construction rebrands as Contexture.

2023

Contexture acquires Commonwealth Blinds & Shades' Nashville operations expanding its presence in Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi.

Over 50,000 projects later, Contexture continues to provide services and products that improve the lives of clients and allow them to achieve their unique design goals.
